Coastal Dream

A complete home renovation enabled the new kitchen to be relocated to better soak in the ocean views, while offering a fresh appearance and functionality. The beautiful open-plan space was infused with a Hamptons aesthetic — simple and elegant so as not to compete with the views.

The large glass doors allow the homeowners to enjoy their incredible view while cooking as light permeates the room. The working area was kept separate to the main open space, with facilities like the sink and bins located in the butler’s pantry. Clutter and mess were also confined to the butler’s pantry to ensure this feature kitchen remained clean and food still within easy reach of the dining area.

The beauty of the incredible quartz benchtop and splashback is further magnified by the contrasting Dulux Pacific Line colour of the island. A true coastal dream.

Our journey with Premier Kitchens began with visiting Premier Kitchens' designer Natalie Bristow. Our brief to her was to provide maximum storage and bench space in the limited area available plus we had the added problem of not being able to move the plumbing and drainage in our 19th floor apartment. The renovation was started and completed during Covid with all rules and restrictions in place so there were many additional complications. The kitchen installation was project managed by Living Space Constructions who did a stellar job under the circumstances. We would have no hesitation in recommending Premier Kitchens for quality and service. Our new kitchen is great and we are more than happy with the end result. Thank you for our beautiful kitchen!5 months down the track and we continue to be delighted with our kitchen. It was an absolute pleasure working with PK and the team at Living Space (who do the installs).Anna (coordinates all the trades, prepares the timeline, keeps your job to schedule) - you run that ship like military precision. Love your work! This is rare I have discovered in the building trade. All builders need an “Anna”.Fred (on site project manager) - nothing ever a problem when Fred is around. No grumble, no groan at my very “attention to detail nature”. THings don't always go to pla, but Fred is a problem solver and just fixes it, no dispute. You are a rare breed and a complete asset to the premier kitchens brand.Peter (head of Premier Kitchens)- you were onto any issue in a flash, so there were no issues actually! Things happen (especially when it comes to renovating) but I always say it’s how one deals with it that matters and you dealt with many things with flying colours!Anita (designer)- the design process ...so smooth. I had a vision and you delivered with ease. It was so easy. You gave me confidence that “you got this” from the minute you walked through our front door. Cool, calm, collected and your advice at every turn was spot on. Love our Pitt Burners and I never would have known about them without you!I will continue to rave about PK to anyone talking about kitchens.

Walked in to get a design, measure and quote booking, Melissa at the Willoughby store basically told us to come back till the insurance pays out. Went into two other stores in the area to only be offered a design and quote immediately. Better places to spend your money then Premier. Whether its causal racism or just poor service but someone doing a job that barely requires a year 10 qualification should know better. Oddly another review from three months has the same review points.

It has been over a year since my kitchen was installed. I am not one who normally writes reviews, but I feel obliged to write this one. My experience with Premier Kitchen has been exceptionally good throughout the whole process from design to installation to after services. They are so pleasant to deal with and the kitchen they installed is exactly what I wished for. They are one of only few kitchen companies can do truly custom made kitchen cabinets and mine was tailored made to suit every inch and corner of the space available. I want to especially thank the design consultant Michelle for her patience and her understanding of my needs and the floor plans. She took time and efforts to help me put my ideas into drawings and allowed me to make millions of changes. I want to also thank Fred and Anna of Living Space Constructions(who delivered and installed the kitchen and organised the after services). They are always willing to help whenever issues arise.

Went in to learn about their services and approach. Melissa greeted us and instantly judged us. Quickly I realised that because I was in street clothes and not dressed in an upscale outfit and acting pretentious she assumed I had no money and couldn't afford a kitchen. She begrudgingly agree to schedule an appointment with me and one of their designers. The next day she called and wanted to cancel it.I can't comment on the quality of their work, but I can comment on how they treated me.

We’ve done a few renovation projects in our time, but this was by far the very best. From the moment we booked in our design consultation, to meeting Anita and getting to know her incredible way of finding the best use of every last millimetre of space (and still managing to fit in an enormous island bench!), all the way through to the impeccable trades schedule Fred kept everyone to - the entire process was second to none.We thank you for bringing the heart of our home to life. All of our must-haves (bin drawers and pantry for me, wine fridge and double oven for him) and nice-to-haves, were considered. Every one of the many trades arrived at their scheduled date, on time, and were all lovely. They even cleaned up before they left!No problem was too big for Fred, Anna and the team, and they were an absolute delight every step of the way.We can’t thank Premier Kitchens enough, nor recommend you more highly. I wouldn’t design and build a kitchen with anyone else.

My husband and I met with Fred our project manager to sign off yesterday on our new kitchen which we love. We were very happy with the whole process I was at first a bit nervous but all along I was reassured in all aspects from Natalie with her great help designing the space and then all the trades who were all competent and well mannered. We gutted our whole kitchen over 2 years ago. It’s a huge decision deciding who to use with so many options out there. All I can say is that I cannot fault these guys in any way. Superior Service, Workmanship and after sales service. The tradies were all really friendly, on time everyday and finished everything on schedule too. The overall job was completed on time and everything was done to an impeccable standard. They take immense pride in their work and it certainly shows ! Two years later and we haven’t had any issues with anything which shows how good the quality of the cabinetry is too !

We recently installed a completely new kitchen with Premier Kitchens. This occurred during the height of COVID and the Premier Kitchens team were absolutely fantastic. From Joelle at the Drummoyne showroom who was so helpful in the design process with excellent suggestions that were within our budget. It was her suggestions that helped give our kitchen a real 'wow' factor. Fred from Living Space was our project manager and he was brilliant, always available and nothing was too much trouble, his tradies were all polite, hardworking, on time and clean. The build quality was first class.Furthermore they expedited the completion of our kitchen with the possibility of a total government shutdown looming. If you want a high quality kitchen from a totally professional team go with Premier

As a first time owner builder the prospect of designing my complete new kitchen was a little daunting. I was recommended to Anita at the Willoughby branch who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Anita guided me and made suggestions throughout the entire process on design and finishes. Her attention to detail is second to none. Anita made it all seem very easy and she is super calm and lovely. I would also like to include Peter and Fred for their expertise in final measure and installation. Fred and his team were exceptional, nothing was ever a problem and any minor fixtures that needed correcting they had it sorted asap. I would definitely use Premier kitchens on my next project, they are organised and deliver on time ... Thanks again guys for a wonderful experience whilst building.

They have proven to be our most successful and valued relationship across the entire project. We had complete faith and trust in Premier Kitchen's ability to deliver on our vision for our new kitchen. They also came to the rescue for our bedroom cabinetry - producing bespoke & high quality cabinetry solutions for all our new bedrooms. We highly recommend Premier Kitchens. Michelle did an outstanding job at designing our new kitchen and gave us lots of creative suggestions about both design and practical aspects of the project. The construction team, led by project manager Fred, did an excellent job at coordinating all the tradespeople and ensured the job got done on time. To remove the old kitchen and install a brand new one in less than four weeks is nothing short of incredible - and much of that time was spent waiting for our benchtop to be cut, which was out of Premier’s control. There were a few minor errors in the build - as is to be expected with a job of this size - but Fred was extremely obliging and rectified everything without making a fuss, and at no additional expense to us. The quality of their work is impeccable, and I would not hesitate to use Premier again. (We have already recommended them to a number of friends.)

I would highly recommend Premier Kitchens. My kitchen was completed on time at the end of October with no complications. Natalie spent a lot of time in designing both an attractive and functional kitchen. She was a great help in selecting materials and suggesting reliable appliances. So happy we chose Premier to build our kitchen recently. Anita - thankyou for designing the most perfect space imaginable, in all our time redesigning our difficult space in our heads ,never had or would we have thought of that. Fred - as project manager you were always making sure everything was being built right the first time with the highest of standards. I'm sure it wasn't the easiest of builds yet it all went in smoothly because of it. Anna, you went out of your way time and time again for all those extra things i know wasn't your job to do yet you took every opportunity to help and make sure at the end we had our dream kitchen. The design phase was fantastic. I would highly recommend Anita from Willoughby who was professional, experienced and provided a lovely design. The construction phase was less than ideal. This is carried out by a company called Living Space Construction. Although we are happy with the overall outcome there were various hiccups along the way. My impression was that a large number of jobs were being carried out at the same time by the project manager and the supervision of ours was suboptimal. In addition, our rangehood (that they selected) broke within 5 months. We were told we had to deal directly with the rangehood supplier as it was nothing to do with them. When we had a rangehood company come out to look at this, they found it had been inadequately ducted, with little to no room for the duct itself. This cost us over $1000 to fix.

Even though my husband is a builder himself, we decided to have Premier Kitchens design our new kitchen as we wanted to make the best possible use of the space in our home and we really liked the look of some of the kitchens on their website. The design they came up with far exceeded all of the layouts we had already sketched up ourselves, leaving us with a highly functional kitchen that looked amazing too. All of their staff were lovely to deal with and any issues that arose were handled promptly and professionally. We are so happy we decided to use them and would recommend them to anyone.

Any renovation work to a building large or small is going to involve a number of trades and suppliers.The company “Premier Kitchens” which is part of a larger Sydney construction company “Living Space”, recently offered to provide and supervise both on and off site the new re-design of our Kitchen and all the trades and services, apart from the choice and supply of all the Kitchen “white goods / machines and equipment” and the new flooring work which we required and therefore organised.However, “Premier” were able to offer advice on these latter two items when necessary.That’s one reason why my wife and I chose “Premier Kitchens” for our recent Kitchen renovation which was regarded by “Premier” as a medium or average sized residential Kitchen job.They offered the supply and co-ordination of most of the work.Another reason was because we were allocated a “Living Space” Project Manager, a Mr. Fred Stafford who was invaluable, in addition to being very experienced and professional at all times, during his personal co-ordination of the works.Fred initially provided a detailed Schedule of Works which was kept to and he even managed to save time during the job.He monitored the job on a daily basis as necessary and always returned our calls promptly.We were also very impressed with the professional work standards and quality of the variety of craftsmen and tradesmen Ed, Jess, Riley, Mike, Lee, and Mitch to mention a few who worked at various times on our site.We particularly valued their consideration shown to us as we were “living” on our upper floor above our building site throughout the job.Towards the end of the job, there was an unfortunate incident with the plumbing re-installation which could have been far more serious.Again Fred arrived immediately with the necessary staff including one of the Directors of his company to quickly assess the situation and swiftly resolve to the satisfaction of all concerned.We would also like to credit the design and initial input of the Kitchen to Joelle at the Penshurst Street Showroom and Peter the Manager of “Premier Kitchens”.Although my wife and I are not new to building and renovation work, a couple of points perhaps to note are that Kitchen joinery cabinets of a standard that “Premier” offer, do take at least a couple of weeks or so to fabricate in the factory, and only after their installation can the bench/worktops be accurately measured on-site.A further two week period is often then required to fabricate the bench-top, especially if it is man-made.Finally, the saying “You get what you pay for” is often a reality.In our case that was the case.“Premier Kitchens” was not the cheapest quote, but the quality, craftsmanship, and co-ordination was definitely worth paying for. Well done, and thank you again to all involved.

This is not a review where everything went smoothly, everything was on time and everything came up perfectly. In fact, none of those things happened with our recent kitchen renovation. Why then am I giving Premier Kitchens 5 stars? Because when things went wrong they did not 'duck and cover', blame someone else or shirk responsibility or palm me off to someone else to fix things. They took pains to respond to me and worked to try to rectify things. In my experience, this tells me more about the quality of the company than all the many glowing reviews. Without doubt, Ben Knight from Living Spaces carried this project and brought this one home. He was the best project manager we could have had. He was always professional, dependable, friendly, responsive and never shied away from helping us through difficulties with the project. He was the only one to say "sorry" to my face when things went badly wrong. Ben and his team of tradies were great. They knew their stuff and provided a quality outcome. As a postscript, today my family and I are enjoying living in our new spaces with the kitchen working really well as the heart of our family home. I would recommend Premier Kitchens and Living Spaces - I would even use them again.

Fred project managed my kitchen upgrade. It was a smooth and care-free process. All the staffs showed up on time and are very friendly and professional. They took the time to get the job done at high quality without cutting corners. Fred responded to every phone call instantly and came back multiple times to help me sort out some minor issues. Anna at the head office handled all the email correspondence with me on time and very professionally. Premier Kitchen is a trust-worthy company and I will definitely refer them to my friends!

Everyone was great to work with from the welcome we received from Melissa in the showroom, through the design phase with Natalie and then into the construction with Fred and his team. Everyone who came to work at the house was without exception pleasant and the back office administration by Anna was fast and efficient. Ours was a big project and we have been more than happy with the results.

Premier Kitchens fulfilled a 9 year dream for my new kitchen. Joelle’s great ideas, professional engagement, a realistic budget and some funky ways to really optimise the storage in my tiny space, Fred, my fabulous PM, Anna for overall admin and coordination; and all the trades who kept me informed of what was happening .. and even when I asked for a few small changes, these were accommodate without a hassle and did not affect the scheduled end date.The whole team at Living Constructions were wonderful: Jay for joinery and installation, Jason for power & light, plus Tony and the team at Gitani stone for my fabulous benchtop were great. . I couldn't believe that the complicated shape slotted into the wonky kitchen walls of my 1920 weatherboard perfectly - not a millimetre off true.I cannot recommend these teams highly enough, and am happy to be a verbal referee.
