For this bold, predominantly black and white kitchen renovation, Premier Kitchens were tasked with improving on the previous space which had an awkward layout and was difficult to use. We flipped the layout 90 degrees to run the kitchen along the wall, opposite to how it was. We also provided an island benchtop for the family to sit around and entertain. We created a lot more storage while still keeping the space feeling open – the mirror splashback helps to widen the space too.

We love the Gitani Stone’s Black Lava Granite for the island benchtop with the shark nose finish around the edge, combined with the green fluted marble tile on the island’s facade. Matt Black cabinetry on the inward side of the island, and throughout the rest of the joinery adds a modern, sleek feel, making the matt black Fisher & Paykel fridge, Neff cooktop and oven, and black tapware the seamless choices. The Vintec wine Fridge adds a touch of decadence. 

With the kitchen so close to the front door, it needed to make a bold statement, and that’s certainly what our clients achieved, with the help of our Premier Kitchens’ designer.
